About Us
Tech Reuse for Good is a collaborative national initiative that connects and amplifies Australia’s existing efforts in technology reuse, digital inclusion and sustainability.
It brings together organisations already leading in these areas to create a shared framework for technology reuse that is secure, equitable and scalable.
The initiative is jointly led by
Good Things Australia, WorkVentures and the Business Council of Australia, in partnership with the Australian Government. Together, these partners are working to help make reuse the first and preferred pathway for suitable technology, extending the life of devices and helping more technology reach people and communities experiencing digital exclusion.
Tech Reuse for Good is designed to strengthen the broader technology reuse ecosystem, not to benefit any single organisation or reuse pathway. Organisations can choose the reuse, refurbishment and community partners that best meet their needs. The aim is to encourage more organisations to reuse suitable technology safely and responsibly, through a range of trusted pathways.
The initiative builds on insights from the
Tech Reuse for Good Roundtable held on 5 June 2026, which brought together leaders from business, community and government to explore how coordinated reuse can strengthen Australia’s digital inclusion and sustainability outcomes.
